This internship is ideal for someone who wants real exposure to UX/UI work beyond tutorials and theory.
Role Summary
The UX/UI Design Intern will support the design team in creating user friendly interfaces for websites, web apps, and digital platforms. The intern will assist in research, wireframing, visual design, and basic prototyping while learning how design decisions are made in real client and product environments.
Key Responsibilities
• Assist in designing wireframes, mockups, and simple prototypes for websites and applications
• Support user experience research such as reviewing user flows and usability feedback
• Help improve existing designs based on feedback from clients and internal teams
• Assist in preparing design presentations and basic documentation
• Support design handoff to developers using tools like Figma
• Help maintain design consistency with brand guidelines
• Participate in internal reviews and brainstorming sessions
• Assist with basic visual assets such as icons, banners, or UI components when needed
Required Skills and Qualities
• Basic understanding of UX/UI principles
• Familiarity with design tools such as Figma or similar
• Eye for detail, layout, spacing, and typography
• Willingness to learn, iterate, and accept feedback
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Curiosity about how users interact with digital products
Qualifications
• Student or recent graduate in Design, IT, Computer Science, Multimedia, or a related field
• Portfolio of school or personal projects is an added advantage
• Previous internship or freelance experience is a plus but not required
